Early Childhood Music

Since we have returned from spring break,
our early childhood music classes have been filled with Easter themed songs, chants and activities.
The children have enjoyed learning praise songs and songs about the Easter Bunny.

Nursery 2

The Nursery 2 class had fun pretending to be the Easter Bunny while we all sang
Here Comes Peter Cottontail.

Nursery 3

Nursery 3 was introduced to the challenging asymmetric rhythm pattern, Hippity, Happity, Hoppity.
They enjoyed learning to recite it and move to it.

Pre-K

Ho Ho Ho Hosanna is a fun praise song that is perfect for Easter.
Pre-K had fun learning to sing it. it.  You can sing along with them here.

Kindergarten

In preparation for the class musical composition project, the kindergarten class was introduced to the PsP Bells app on the iPad.  They are practicing playing different tonal patterns by reading the color coded rhythmic notation.  Soon they will be writing their own music!

Have a blessed Easter!
